WWIN Show Launches New #WWINdowShopper Instagram Competition To Recognize Retail Store With Top Window Display

LAS VEGAS (July 15, 2019) – Womenswear in Nevada (WWIN) is thrilled to announce the new #WWINdowShopper Instagram competition, a contest providing retailers with a fun new way to gain valuable exposure and publicity for their shop AND merchandising style! Retailers are invited to post and tag their best store window display on Instagram and the winner will be announced on opening day of the August 12-15, 2019 WWIN Show at the Rio Convention Center in Las Vegas.

The WWIN show team is co-promoting the new competition with fashion influencer - Jasmin Rodriguez, @vintagevandal. As part of the promotion, Jasmin will be on site during the show’s popular Wine Down extended show hours on Monday evening, August 12.  The winning retailer will have the chance to meet Jasmin, be featured in her blog and on her social media page.

The winner of the #WWINdowShopper competition will also receive:

  1. Full page color congratulatory ad in the February 2020 issue of the official WWIN show directory, which is handed out on show site to hundreds of fellow womenswear retailers, vendors, press and other industry members attending our show.
  2. A press release, announcing the award, distributed to news outlets in the retailer’s community.
  3. Feature in WWIN Show’s WWINspiration Blog and social media channels to announce the award, showcasing their window display and providing a profile of the winning shop.

Shop Late and Enjoy Extended Hours on Opening Day with our Monday Night Wine Down
Shortly after the announcement of the #WWINdowShopper Instagram contest winner, WWIN invites retailers to stay late and shop from 6:00 – 8:00 PM, while wine and cheese is served on the show floor.

Retailers can also enjoy a number of other new initiatives during the August edition, including the new WWIN Buyers Concierge Club and MATCH! Appointment-Setting programs; expanded educational offerings; ever-popular and ever-growing free breakfast, lunch hospitality line-up; free parking; discounted hotel rates at the Rio; giveaways and more programs to be announced soon.

Buyers will also have the chance to see the freshest styles and newest introductions from the shows full roster of top name brands and new companies in every womenswear category, including missy|modern updated, contemporary, traditional, petite, tall, plus and accessories.
