WWIN Show August Successfully Creates New Business and Connections and Looks Ahead to February 2022

Shelton, CT (September 10, 2021) – Womenswear in Nevada (WWIN), operated by Clarion Events, Inc., successfully wrapped it’s in-person August edition which took place during fashion market week at Caesars Palace Hotel in Las Vegas, August 9-12, 2021. Spanning three ballrooms, the floor layout curated exhibiting brands into thoughtful merchandised groupings by apparel, accessories, product category and price points. WWIN February will take place at a new venue CAESARS FORUM Conference Center in Las Vegas, February 14 – 17, 2022 and will resume its partnership to introduce a co-location with Illinois-based, privately-owned apparel and accessory show ILOE Studios, launching ILOE Studios at WWIN.
 
“We were thrilled to welcome back our community of women’s fashion apparel and accessories brands and retailers. Although not everyone could attend due to the pandemic and other circumstances, we were very pleased with the level of quality business connections made at the show. It's a touch and feel industry, and those that were able to attend wanted and needed to be meeting in-person with exhibitors and products,” says Desiree Hanson, Executive Vice President of Fashion Events, Clarion Events. “In our elevated and remerchandised venue, the energy was positive in addition to very productive for buyers to meet with vendors. It was wonderful to get back to business, with order-writing happening at busy booths and brand/exhibitor matching that occurred through our MATCH! program.”
 
Highlights from WWIN Show August
  • Trend Tours – WWIN Show Style Host, Jen Cullen Williams, took our attendees on a NEW guided walking tour of the August 2021 show floor. On the tour she shared insights on top trends, while pointing out and introducing a curated selection of styles from exhibiting brands. The Trend Tours to continue at WWIN February 2022 edition with even more tours, brands and special surprises for participants.
  • The introduction of ADORN – the curated, accessories-focused dedicated section of WWIN which will continue at future events.
  • The return of “Pop, Fizz, Clink” – extended hours on the show floor with a hosted full bar to create excitement and discovery as well as continued shopping and networking.
  • WWIN Workshops – relevant and engaging educational sessions which included: “Social Media Training, From Set Up to Optimization” followed by “1:1 Social Hour” for training featuring digital marketer, Shayne McCoy Hollander of Straight Up Social; “The New Uniform: Where Style Meets Merchandising” featuring trend forecaster Jessica Richards of JMR Design Consulting and Fashion Director of Accessories Council Magazine; and “What’s Trending in Fashion” featuring communications consultant and WWIN’s Style Host Jen Cullen Williams.
  • DJ spinning upbeat tunes open to close to keep the positive vibes flowing all four days of the show.
  • MATCH! – the highly interactive and unique meeting format brought together the right buyers and vendors to create a purposeful network during the WWIN Show. MATCH! is reserved for hand-selected womenswear and fashion accessory buyers who are responsible for the purchasing of products for their retail locations.

What’s Next – WWIN February 2022
 
WWIN February and ILOE Studios at WWIN will be co-located in the state-of-the-art new venue facilities at Caesars Forum Conference Center. The host hotel is the newly renovated Harrah’s which has an air-conditioned walkway right from the hotel to Caesars Forum Conference Center. There is also a monorail that connects the Caesars Forum to Las Vegas Convention Center and other nearby hotels on the Las Vegas strip. WWIN will continue to be the destination for buyers hunting for all size women at all price-points, across multiple product categories and accessories. Newly launched offering ADORN – an exclusively curated, accessories dedicated section of WWIN will expand to cover select aisles of the show floor. In a dedicated ballroom, the ILOE Studios at WWIN will showcase domestic and global brands and designers featuring luxury apparel, accessories, outerwear, and footwear and introducing menswear to the WWIN community of buyers. The co-location will offer a diverse range of buyers an in-person event all under one roof to conveniently source the newest designs, trends and styles in a shoppable and easy to navigate, reimagined format.
