Press Release - WWIN Show Goes Virtual

WWIN Show Goes Virtual

Bringing valuable tradeshow experiences to customers with WWINdow Shopping
Trumbull, CT (August 4, 2020) – Womenswear in Nevada (WWIN)’s new virtual trade show platform WWINdow Shopping recently launched running through October 31, 2020. The new, interactive and easy-to-use platform was developed to deliver valuable aspects of the tradeshow floor by connecting brands and retailers from the comfort and safety of their own homes, stores or offices.
This new virtual experience provides discovery, networking and business opportunities for the WWIN community through:
  • Exhibitor showrooms featuring information about their brand and latest products and lines
  • Easy-to-use searches and personalized recommendations for retailers based on their profiles and search behavior
  • Exhibitor to buyer and buyer to buyer connections via video meetings, messages and live chats
  • Live demo appointments for vendors to present their latest styles to groups of up to 50
  • The experiential interface allows retailers to swipe through exhibitor profiles, “skip” to the next or “handshake” to show interest—allowing the platform to serve suggestions that are increasingly relevant
To date, there are over 170 exhibitors showcasing nearly 1,500 products, and more than 2,000 product and company recommendations served to buyers. The numbers grow daily as more brands showcase on the platform and add products to their showrooms.

“While WWINdow Shopping does not replace the experience of connecting face-to-face at our live events, we believe this is a robust alternative, offering our community numerous ways to connect as vendors showcase products and ultimately achieve sales and marketing goals,” says Desiree Hanson, Senior Vice President, Clarion Events, Inc., WWIN Shows. “The virtual video meetings allow buyers and exhibitors to still see each other and also share new collections, discuss products, negotiate terms and drive business efficiently, and most importantly safely, all through the platform.”
“We are thrilled WWIN is providing an opportunity like this. Not being able to see some of our vendors face-to-face is a challenge. With WWINdow Shopping, we can actually check out products, chat and schedule meetings with vendors. I’m excited for the ‘recommended for you’ feature—I’m looking forward to finding new vendors this way too.” – Lisa, Shop Polished (Branford, CT).

In addition to brand showcasing, lead generation for exhibitors, product and company discovery for the buyers, new connections and industry interactions, WWIN will be hosting weekly live sales demonstrations from exhibiting companies and educational webinars and panels from leading industry experts for retailers. The weekly schedule is available on the WWINdow Shopping platform and updates are shared each week in the newly launched, WWIN Weekly newsletter (subscribe below).
“We know it’s been a challenging year and we will miss seeing our WWIN community in Las Vegas this August. Our team knew we needed to create a way to bring our buyers and exhibitors together - online - to create connections and drive business!” Hanson continues, “The WWIN Team is here to support and make it the best possible experience with WWINdow Shopping. We have created a series of how-to guides, videos and will be continuing to update our community with new information, trends and valuable resources. And as always—we appreciate their ongoing feedback and ideas on how we can continue to enhance the experience for them—now and in the future.”
