INTRODUCING ‘FRESH @ WWIN’: NEW DESIGNER STAGE FOR RISING STARS TO DEBUT AT AUGUST 12-15, 2019 EDITION

LAS VEGAS (April 24, 2019) – In an effort to provide the industry’s rising designer stars with an accessible introduction to the career-building opportunities a trade show can provide and respond to retailer demand for new resources and discoveries, ‘FRESH @ WWIN’ will make its debut during the August 12-15, 2019 edition of the Womenswear in Nevada (WWIN) show. Located in the Pavilion hall of the Rio Convention Center, the new designer stage will bring together a juried selection of designers showcasing their new collections.

“With many new up and coming talents within the fashion industry, we wanted to provide these designers with an accessible gateway for reaching the retailers they may not have the ability to see on their own,” says Desiree Hanson, Vice President of Fashion Events, Clarion UX. “We hear directly from the retailers that shop the WWIN Show that they are always looking for that next best-seller that is going to set them apart. By launching this new designer stage, we think that it could turn out to represent a win-win for everyone.”

The inaugural FRESH @ WWIN stage is expected to feature 16 designers, each reviewed and selected by a jury based upon criteria, including design philosophy, price points, collection style, craftsmanship and more. FRESH @ WWIN headlines a full series of other new initiatives in the works for the August edition, including the new WWIN Buyers Concierge Club and MATCH! Appointment-Setting programs; expanded educational offerings; ever-popular and ever-growing free breakfast, lunch hospitality line-up; extended shopping hours with wine & cheese on opening day; free parking; discounted hotel rates at the Rio,  giveaways and more programs to be announced soon.

Buyers will also have the chance to see the freshest styles and newest introductions from the shows full roster of top name brands and new companies in every womenswear category, including missy|modern updated, contemporary, traditional, petite, tall, plus and accessories.
