I am very excited for WWIN Womeswear in Nevada August edition and all of the new things we have cooking. In particular, the new WWINing Fashion Show & Social that will enhance the ever-popular wine and cheese reception. Buyers should plan to shop WWIN on Monday and unwind from 6pm – 8pm during our extended buying hours and discover new lines at the new fashion show while sipping champagne. Each day of WWIN brings deals and new offerings you won’t want to miss, especially our revamped breakfasts and lunches brought to us by our Garment Gourmets, Executive Chefs Chris Villarreal and Franck Sauvat.
Tip: Schedule a little extra time to “window shop”! The beauty of WWIN is being able to visit existing accounts and stumbling upon a few new ones! The late night shopping event on Monday is the perfect opportunity to sip some wine and roam aisles and see what’s new!

Tip: Whenever I’m in Las Vegas for WWIN, or anything else, I always (try to) plan on visiting some of my favorite restaurants. It’s no secret that Vegas has some of the best restaurants in the country, and some would say…the world! After being on your feet at the show all day, there is nothing better than sitting down and enjoying a great meal and an incredible restaurant.
Here a few of my must-do spots:
Rao’s at Caesar’s Palace – Incredible Italian Food, and very reasonable prices
Old Homestead at Caesar’s Palace – Steaks, Seafood, and really fun drinks
Javier’s at Aria – The best Mexican Food in town, and the margaritas are amazing.
Carnevino Italian Steakhouse at The Palazzo – Easily one of the most robust wine lists in town, and the steaks are to die for!
Tip: Decide your overarching goal and execute it. WWIN can be the best show you attend if you go in with a plan!

Tip: Come with a plan… have a goal of what you want to accomplish, know your open to buy/inventory, decide what seminars to attend and schedule meetings with vendors.
Tip: For dining options, Mon Ami Gabi at Paris is one of my favorite Vegas dining spots. Make a reservation ahead of time for a table outside and it’s just a great place to relax, warm up from the insanely Vegas interior cold air conditioning (!) and enjoy great views of the Bellagio water show across the street. When it comes to working the WWIN show, be SURE to pre-register for your ExpressPass. If you’re in town early, stop by show registration on Sunday afternoon anytime between 1-7 pm and pick up your badge before the show opens on Monday!
Tip: Take advantage of the special seminars, fashion show and networking opportunities at the WWIN show. Retail is constantly evolving and attending breakout sessions and special show events allows you to stay ahead on trends and best business practices. Whether you’re sitting down for lunch or in a session, it’s great to hear from other businesses like yours – to bounce ideas off of one another and learn what’s working well for other retailers like yourself.
Tip: Take the time to plan your buying trip!
