LAS VEGAS (January 8, 2019) – The Womenswear in Nevada (WWIN) tradeshow announced today Linda Arroz, noted speaker, writer and consultant whose expertise encompasses fashion, beauty, wellness and technology,  will headline the extensive educational line-up during the February 4-7, 2019 edition at the Rio Hotel & Convention Center. Arroz will present From Pop Cultures to Cryptocurrency, the Trends that Shaped Our Future on Wednesday, February 6, 2019 from 9-10 am.

"We're thrilled to have Linda Arroz headline the educational workshops at WWIN," says Desiree Hanson, Vice President of Fashion Events, Clarion UX. "Linda has touched every part of the fashion industry from personal stylist, plus-size model and spokesperson to magazine editor and catalog publisher. She will motivate and inspire boutiques, department stores, and specialty fashion retailers with proven advice and winning business strategies to help business owners identify opportunities and position their fashion business for future growth."

A true influencer in the world of specialty fashion, Arroz (pictured right) was one of the first plus-size spokes-models to get a lucrative consulting contract, representing plus-size women’s fashion brand, For You From Spiegel. Her body of work also includes scores of TV makeovers and trend reports sharing fashion and lifestyle tips and trends. Arroz has worked on more than 150 television commercials, bringing characters to life through their wardrobe, providing a platform for her fashion philosophy that “If You Can Wear That, You Can Be That©.” She was also the former editor in chief of two specialty fashion magazines, Big Beautiful Woman and Maternity Fashion & Beauty, in the early nineties. On the retail speaker’s trail, Arroz has worked with the nation’s best fashion retailers, including Bloomingdales, Dillard’s, Nordstrom’s, Macy’s and Saks Fifth Avenue.

Attendees are invited to join the expanded line-up of complimentary educational WWIN Workshops and networking sessions, presented by industry leaders, including members of the Boutique Hub team; Rita Mitchell-Waldoff, the Waldoff Group; Penny Bolton, Penny’s Closet; Mercedes Gonzalez, Global Purchasing Companies and Destiny Allison, founder of Boutique Hack.
